The Community Development Program of Beaver County will assist Ambridge borough will the demolition of 537 Merchant Street, according to borough officials.
The business, formerly a 24-hour tanning salon, was destroyed by fire in July.
If all goes as planned, she said the demolition will take place soon, weather permitting.
Demolition work is also continuing at the American Bridge site on Park Road at Fourth Street after about six months of inactivity. The borough has been working with owner Frank Pelly through the courts to get the property cleared.
The borough is also working with the owners of Rook’s and Unis to get that property cleared.
Other scheduled 2015 demolitions include 621 Olive Lane and 339 Locust Street.
