Ambridge Borough Council voted to approve three community members into positions at the monthly borough council meeting.  From Beaver County sheriff and district attorney to school board and municipal boards, the results of the primary election are in.
Those who won will move onto the November general election. The state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of a large fire that broke out Monday morning at the Venue at Harmony Ridge, formerly known as the Ambridge Country Club. Harmony Fire Chief Jim Curcio said the fire marshal was on scene Monday trying to discern how the fire started. The cause hasn’t been determined, he said. “We don’t believe it was suspicious,” he added.  Looking for a job? Here are five positions we found this week in the local area.
