Music lovers will enjoy Allegheny Drifters, the Pittsburgh Historical Music Society, and 3 Rivers 4. Story lovers can hear tales from members of the Three Rivers Storytelling Festival. And the Village will be open with guided tours of the Rapp Houses, artisan demonstrations such as blacksmithing, spinning and weaving, and printing, as well as opportunities to tour the Natural History Museum, wine cellar, Harmonist Store, and other historic buildings. An American Celebration will also include plenty of eats. This year’s event features Big Creek BBQ, Ambridge Italian Villa, Ambridge Rotary Funnel Cakes, Spun Sugars Cotton Candy, and Bruster’s Ice Cream. Located at 270 16th Street in Ambridge, Old Economy Village preserves and presents the life, thought, and material culture of the Harmony Society, a highly successful and entrepreneurial 19th century religious com-munity. Admission for the entire day is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for children, and free for Friends of Old Economy Village members, children 2 and under, active military, and Ambridge Borough Resident Passholders.
