 Ambridge School Director Kim Locher wants to see a media center at the high school where the old library was located and suggested hiring a media specialist as well.
“Our students need a library, they need a computer lab, they need a space,” Locher said. “It’s a waste of space for these students.”  In addition to approving a final budget, the Ambridge Area School Board is expected to decide tonight on whether to approve a $6.6 million HVAC installation project at the Ambridge Junior High School.

Senior Breanna Copenhaver kicked off the 2015-16 season of senior projects by holding a summer camp.  All children are eligible for free lunch this summer regardless of household income. Meals are free for any children ages 1-18, and no paperwork or registration is required.
