A candlelight vigil will be held on Thursday, July 16 in Ambridge to raise awareness about the growing drug epidemic in the community. A Harmony Township elected official was among the Beaver Valley FOP on Saturday, July 11 when the group presented the colors at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
On Monday July 13th, Economy Fire Department, Kasper-Hahn Funeral & Cremation Services, and Bob's Market & Greenhouses, Inc. handed out a truckload of flowers to any one who stopped over to the funeral home on Eighth Street.
An estimated $10,000 worth of flowers were given out within a span of about three hours. By Nancy Knisley
