Council recently approved the purchase of an “Expression Swing” that seats both parent and child on the same swing facing each other. Several Ambridge groups participate in the Beaver County Veteran's Day Parade. The annual parade travels to different locations in the county hosted by the local American Legions, this year the New Brighton American Legion hosted the parade.
Ambridge restaurants can now offer outdoor dining to customers.
Council formally adopted a new ordinance Tuesday that repeals a section of zoning code requiring restaurants to keep food inside their establishments. Over the past few weeks, APlus convenience store had an interior and exterior remodel.
APlus convenience store has been in Ambridge since 1985 with Sunoco gas opening in 1995. This Veterans Day, we salute our veterans and military service men by honoring their courage and sacrifice.
Municipal buildings, state and federal offices and museums are closed. The annual Beaver County Veteran's Day Parade hosted by the New Seven times a day, someone in this country dies in a home fire. The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce this number and our volunteers can help save lives and prevent injuries. On Nov. 14, the American Red Cross will conduct door-to-door fire safety canvassing in the Ambridge area. On Dec. 4 and 5, they will return to visit homes to install smoke alarms, conduct home fire safety checklists and develop fire escape plans for Ambridge residents.
Ambridge Do It Best will host their 21st annual Ladies Night that will include live demonstrations, appetizers, and wine all while shopping.
"We want to give the customers a lasting impression filled with fun and entertainment along the way" shared Operations Manager David Strano. In their first playoff appearance on a decade, the Bridgers were unable to gain momentum against the Ringgold Rams. Ambridge fell to the Rams 35-0 at Joe Montana Stadium.
