
Matthew Nelko of New York City was among the contributing writers and producers awarded for ABC's "Good Morning America" during the 41st annual awards show, which took place Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
He has written, produced, edited, reported and anchored, with credits that include CBS's "Evening News," "Morning News," and the Early Show," along with ABC's "World News," "World News Now," "Early Morning News and "Good Morning America."
A University of Pittsburgh graduate, Nelko's writing and reporting has been recognized over the years with numerous awards.
He has also served on the board of directors for the Writers Guild of America, East, and as a judge for the national Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, according to his website.
