"We would like to thank everyone involved in making our first Lemonade Day lemonade stands a success," shared Sandra Edwards-Curry, program director at the Franklin Center. "We are very excited to introduce this program to Pennsylvania and to serve the community of Ambridge as our first location and pilot program."
According to Curry, the total sales for each day the students ran the stands was $229.85.
"This program adds an elementary component to our existing programs which serve students in grades 6-12, and it was an honor to help these young people learn the valuable skill of entrepreneurship," added Curry.
The students will be at Nationality Days on Saturday morning.
