"I believe that antiques and vintage shops are a natural fit for the Ambridge Historic District" said Sutherland.
Sutherland purchased the bowling alley in Ambridge on Merchant Street, which is located in the Historic District of the community.

"Development will take time, but the bones are here, and we need to continue to grow and preserve this area."
"I am excited to move to Ambridge. The bottom line for my decision: this is the right building, at the right time, in the right area. I think the Borough of Ambridge, and the people of Ambridge, work hard to support and improve their town," added Sutherland.
RiverTown Antiques carries a variety of antiques, vintage items, collectibles and quality decoratives, at a range of price points. Sutherland noted that "We attract customers of all ages. Vintage bar ware is particularly popular, and we have sold authentic ships lanterns, artwork, a phone booth, cast iron fireplace surrounds and other architectural items, tools, Pyrex kitchen ware, Fiesta china, art glass, and vintage glassware of all types. If the item is unique or unusual, we like to carry it."
