Ambridge Superintendent Cynthia Zurchin said nine students from Highland Elementary were on the bus, most of them from South Heights.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 600 block of Duss Avenue, where medics evaluated students at the scene. One student received a Band-aid for a hand scratch.
"Every child was checked out. There were no reportable injuries," Zurchin said.
Zurchin said some families came to the scene to pick up students. The bus was towed.
Jeff Olsen, Rhodes Transit safety director, said the bus company will do a full investigation into what caused the bus to hit the truck.
