Good Samaritan Parish will carry on its annual tradition of selling pączki—homemade sugared doughnuts—from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 28 while supplies last.
The cost is $9 a dozen or $5.00 for a half dozen.
Paczki, (pronounced poonch-key) is a Polish tradition that allowed people to indulge before Lent.
The Good Samaritan Choir and Friends organizes the annual Paczki Day sale, a local tradition for 26 years.
