Pitt Moss was introduced to the investors on Shark Tank, ABC’s show for budding entrepreneurs in 2015, and convinced three “sharks” to invest in the company. The Harmony Township-based company produces an environmentally-friendly product that uses resources that are thrown into landfills.
On Saturday, February 18, PittMoss will hold its first public open house and official launch date for customers to purchase directly from the factory. PittMoss creates a peat moss substitute made from organic additives and recycled paper.
Visitors will learn about the products, meet the team, and tour the facility. Customers can purchase the PittMoss products in advance of their visit from the website. If you plan to pick up your PittMoss purchase at the factory use the code "AMBRIDGE" to remove the shipping cost.
