All Pat Catan's stores are shutting down with possibility for rebranding and reopen this year1/30/2019  Pat Catan's is shutting down all locations including the ones in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Michigan. That total's up to 36 stores. There is a possibility for as many as 12 stores to reopen as Michaels locations.

The Bridgers Boys Basketball Team participated in the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Showcase at Montour on Sunday afternoon. The Bridgers led their game against Mars throughout the entire first half but fell behind at the end, falling to the Mars Fightin' Planets 77-58.

The event, which took place from Dec. 20-22, featured some of the best young soccer players in the country.
 Ambridge has only one WPIAL title in school history and has won one section championship in 45 seasons. But this week, the Bridgers became the Post-Gazette’s No. 1-ranked team in WPIAL Class 4A. They were in first place in their section but now are 10-5 overall, 5-1 in section after losing to Beaver Friday night, 58-48. The Bridgers had knocked off previous No. 1 Quaker Valley earlier in the week.

The 14th Annual Mr. Ambridge Pageant was held on Thursday evening at the high school auditorium. The annual tongue-in-cheek competition raised more than $3,000 to benefit the McGuire Memorial Home.
