Two Ambridge Area School District officials told BeaverCountian.com this week that board members were previously made to sign nondisclosure agreements (NDA) preventing them from openly discussing district issues with the media.
Warming and cooling centers are available Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. until 4 p.m. at multiple locations in Beaver County. The shelters open when the temperature is below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees.
There are five warming and cooling centers in Beaver County: "The weather is getting colder, and people are pulling out their space heaters. We just wanted to remind you that you should NEVER plug a heater into a power strip," the fire department wrote on its Facebook page.
