The Pennsylvania State Police have filed criminal charges against a former employee of Good Samaritan Parish in Ambridge.
Brother Ambrose as known as Thomas Paul Ross, is accused of stealing about $220,695 in parish funds from 2006 to 2015. Ambridge Police need help in tracking down a two individuals.
The Board of School Directors have completed their rounds of School Board Meetings at the various District school buildings. Through December, 2016 all School Board Meet and Discuss Meetings and School Board Meetings will be held at the Ambridge Area High School Auditorium.
Ambridge won their Section 1 with a 10-0 record and entered the WPIAL playoffs as the top seed in Class AA. On Tuesday, May 24, they will play Montour at 7:30 in North Allegheny.

The Bridgers won the Section 1 title with a 10-0 record and received a bye in the first round. The Bridgers advanced to the semifinals with a 3-0 sweep of Hopewell. Montour placed third in Section 1 with a 6-4 record.
