Buck helped the Ambridge boys volleyball team tie for the WPIAL Class 2A Section 1 title with Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Ambridge, the defending WPIAL champion, began the playoffs Tuesday night against Steel Valley.
 Merchant Street between 5th and 6th Streets will be CLOSED to traffic and parking this week for Streetscape construction. Starts at 6AM on Monday May 20th. Businesses will be OPEN though. Detours will be posted. Here come the brick crosswalks....
Photo by Ryan Donnelly / Ambridge Connection  As usual, Victoria “Vickie” Perri arrived well before her scheduled 8 a.m. start at Economy Elementary School’s cafeteria, where Monday through Friday she cooks and serves lunches to approximately 460 pupils.
 The Ambridge High School boys volleyball team has been playing with a makeshift lineup most of the season.
 Picnic tables have been installed. The new pavilion at Park Road Park is ready for your summer parties.
