This season on the front of Ambridge fire station is a wreath that is wrapped with red lights. The wreath remains lit 24 hours a day during the holiday season, if a fire occurs that as a result of holiday decoration white bulbs will replace a red bulb on a wreath. The hope is that the wreath will serve as a constant reminder to practice safe the during the holiday season.

Borough of Ambridge 2018 leaf collection began Oct 22 and continues through Dec 7 via street sweeping schedules, weather permitting, Mon-Fri 7am-2pm. Leaves must be raked curbside for the leaf-vac truck to pick up. Leaves may also be bagged in brown leaf/garden bags. No plastic. No dirt. No garbage. No bags > 40 lbs. See flyer for details.
