Ambridge Old Juke City Building For Sale

Own a piece of hometown tv/film history.... the old Juke City building in Ambridge is still for sale. Netflix's hit series Mindhunter shot there a couple times in 2018 for season 2. Season 2 filming has completed but has yet to be released. Season 3 is very likely to film elsewhere from the Pittsburgh region (there was a sell-off of season 1&2 set materials back in Jan/Feb).

Ambridge The New Tree City

This month, Ambridge was named a Tree City USA community for its shade tree efforts.

“The borough is very serious about its commitment to be a good steward of the environment,” council President Michael Mikulich said. “Part of that commitment means providing an outstanding level of tree care.”

According to police paperwork, the suspect stomped on her head, choked her, put a knife to her throat and sexually assaulted her.

Streetscape Construction Anticipated to Come to an End

Streetscape construction marches on near 5th and Merchant. Work is anticipated to be complete by mid-June according to the Boro. Paving to be done at the end. The east side of Merchant Street between 5th and 6th is coned off at the moment. No parking on that side for now.

Lewis and Clark Expedition Identify to have Started in Pittsburgh

Brenda Applegate, executive director of the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation said the region has a head start in marking the trail. The organization through grant funding has established interpretive historic markers in six spots where the expedition stopped between Pittsburgh and the Ohio state line.

CBD Products Now at Sweeper Center's in Ambridge
