Ambridge High School alumna Rhonda Wozniak will be at Laughlin Memorial Library at 6 p.m. April 15 sharing her experiences and findings in the depths of the North Atlantic Ocean where the Titanic sunk on April 15, 1912.
Eighty-two years after the Titanic sunk, she held the binoculars that could have prevented the massive ship from going down.
Ambridge High School alumna Rhonda Wozniak will be at Laughlin Memorial Library at 6 p.m. April 15 sharing her experiences and findings in the depths of the North Atlantic Ocean where the Titanic sunk on April 15, 1912. On Wednesday 3/23/16 and Thursday 3/27/16 of this week, during daylight hours, 11th Street will be closed between Merchant Street and Melrose Avenue, along side PJ Caul Park for the purposes of road construction work.
As part of Ambridge 2016 Road Program, construction starts today with work associated with concrete base repairs.
Work today will include saw cutting and roadway preparation work on 11th and 9th streets. Flaggers will be in place, so please use caution in these areas. The Ambridge Eagles will sponsor and host the first Bridger Brew Fest on Saturday, April 2.
The three-hour event showcases local home brewers. Ambridge Area School Board approved a contract with Constellation Energy to update the heating and cooling system at the junior high school.
State Street Elementary PTA will hold the second annual Family Fun Indoor Carnival on Friday, March 18th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
