UPDATE SHIP WILL BE IN TOWN BETWEEN 5:30 a.m. and 6 A.M.
According to organizers, the LST-325 is now expected to travel pass Ambridge between 5:30 a.m and 6 a.m.
Laughlin Memorial Library posted via facebook that the library will still have a reception beginning at 7:30 a.m. At 11 a.m. a presentation of the history of the LST given by author, historian, and LST Navy Veteran, Gary Augustine, will follow. The program is free, but anyone who plans to attend the lecture is requested to RSVP by calling the library at 724-266-3857.

On September 1, 2015 the LST-325 (Landing Ship Tank) is sailing to Pittsburgh on the Ohio River past Ambridge, the community that proudly built 123 LST's to support the war effort.
