 Photo Credit : Alan Freed Traffic was backed up for hours Monday afternoon following a tractor-trailer accident on Route 65 at Cross Street in Leetsdale.
Crews had to clean up a gasoline spill after the truck jack-knifed at the Ambridge border. Northbound traffic was rerouted from Route 65 to Beaver Road, causing delays.  An Ambridge man accused of shooting an Aliquippa man is being held in the Beaver County Jail unable to post $250,000 bond, according to court records.
Large vehicles considered to be nuisances could soon receive fines in Ambridge.  Ambridge Council plans to adopt an ordinance that would prohibit trucks, tractors, buses, motor homes and other large vehicles from parking on the highways and streets situated in the borough.
