While some businesses are preparing to open in Ambridge, one has ended its run. Caffe 501 was opened originally by Kathleen Sabol in 2007. She sold it to a long-time friend Pilar Meyer in 2018. Before a coffee shop the site had been home to Sam's Shoe Service. Though fracking has yet to begin, crews were working to clear-cut trees at the site in September, according to Mullins. Economy officials approved a zoning permit for the project a year ago, and in February, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection issued ....

Please be aware that the Borough of Ambridge Police Department has a curfew enforced through written law (Chapter 120-3: Curfew). The Police Department has informed District Administration that effective immediately, it will begin enforcing this curfew. The department has communicated to the District that it would like every parent to be aware that any minor (person under the age of 18 years) must not be present at any public place within the Borough between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. |
