The money comes from the Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program funded by state gaming revenue.  The Ohio River Trail Council is set to launch the second phase of the Ohio River Trail Project study, which involves designing a 15-mile bike trail through several communities that include Ambridge.
A kick-off meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 in the Old Economy Village Visitor Center, 270 16th St, Ambridge.
