Police were dispatched to Maplewood Avenue around 3 a.m. because someone was breaking the windows of car.

Schofield is one the partners of the family-run business, Steel City Landscaping and Excavating LCC, who purchased Duss Avenue Cafe, known locally as Chicken Nick's in spring of 2015. Mayor Richie D'Ambrosio announced at the council meeting that there will be a crime watch meeting on Tuesday, June 21 at 6 p.m . in the Ambridge Fireman training hall at the Ambridge borough building.
Ambridge Business Donates Spaces to Aliquippa Community Reach Out Program for Red Carpet Event6/19/2016 Aliquippa Community Reach Out Program (ACROP) held a Father-Daughter dance in May. Owners of Let's Get 2gether, David Gant and Damien Powell , donated the private function rental venue for the event.
It has been six years since the last time Ambridge had fireworks. Marilyn Sheleheda, Ambridge Borough Executive Assistant in conjunction with the Ambridge Volunteer Fire Department and a citizen's committee are bringing back the fireworks to Ambridge.
