As part of the national enforcement initiative, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” PennDOT, state police and municipal police are focusing their efforts on reducing alcohol and drug-related crashes through Labor Day.  The former Baden Tire building at 330 State St. might be an eyesore, but the vacant property also presents an opportunity for the next business venture in Baden.
 The Bridgers looked sharp tonight, but they ultimately fell short in their season opener against the Highlanders in Baldwin, 10-7.

A Pittsburgh man was found guilty Tuesday of fatally shooting an Ambridge woman who was seven months pregnant. Conekia "Coco" Finney and her unborn child were both killed in Oct. 28, 2012 when she was gunned down at her Ambridge apartment. "She was shot in the heart. She basically died instantly," said Ambridge Police Chief James Mann. |
