Ambridge Police are investigating a burglary that happen Wednesday night according to Ambridge Do it Best Operations Manager David Strano.

Please call Ms. Renee Gist at 724-266-2833 ext. 1203 for more information and to schedule an appointment. Eleven contestants came to earn the title of "The Valley's Best Chili " and "Best Display" at Vanport Volunteer Fire Department tenth annual Chili Cook Off.
Restaurants, caterers and individuals were eligible to compete to see who makes the best chili and who had the best table display. Winners received trophies and cash prizes for first, second, and third places in both competitions. Voting was done by the people who attended the function in Vanport. Beaver County students to qualify for the state competition in March. Over 70 students competed and only the top 4 individuals and the top team advanced to the state competition. The junior high “mathletes” consisted of Jacob Beaudway, Jonathan Ciani, Connor Finnegan, Natalie Ruprecht, Ezra Hanna, Zach Astorino, Noah Weedon, Jeremiah Giordani, Frank Grabski, and Gregory Constantine. Photo submitted. Ten students represented the Junior High on February 13th at the MathCounts competition at Penn State University – Beaver. This was the 30th year of MathCounts being sponsored by the Beaver Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers and Auxiliary.
