- Added eight additional hours of Code Enforcement shifts for each week.
- Purchased a used fire engine, a 1992 Pierce / International Pumper, from the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire Department. The fire engine will replace our 1977 American LaFrance pumper as the Borough's reserve / backup fire engine. Purchase of the truck will be paid for by the sale of the 1977 and 1973 American LaFrances and funds in the Borough's Fire Apparatus Replacement Fund.
- Approved applying for multiple grants including: 1) Reconstruction of Storm-sewer outfalls under the Ambridge - Alliquippa Bridge, 2) Improvements to the 6th and Melrose Parking Lot, and 3) applying for funding for an Intern to develop and implement a Business Investment Strategy Plan.
- Approved the Subdivision Plan for the Palichat Property at 1802 North Walnut Street.

Ambridge Borough is accepting applications for the position of Alternate School Crossing Guard. The position would serve in a substitute basis if there is a call-off of one of the five permanent crossing stations. Ambridge School Crossing Guards work the days that the Ambridge School District has class and pays $40/day. CLASSIFICATION: SEASONAL / PART-TIME
Ambridge Borough is accepting applications for the position of seasonal Public Works Summer Help Laborer. Position is seasonal and will work May 1, 2017 through August 31, 2017. Pay is $9 / hour, works Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3PM. Work includes, but not limited to: public works activities such as landscaping / grass cutting, curb and line painting, park maintenance.
