The Ambridge varsity football team recently had three players recognized by the Midwestern Athletic Conference Football Coaches' Association.

The Ambridge varsity football team recently had three players recognized by the Midwestern Athletic Conference Football Coaches' Association.
The association is made up of 22 schools in Allegheny, Beaver, Buler
Lawrence and Washington counties.
During the annual banquet, the association honors outstanding accomplishments of athletes and coaches in football during the past season of competition .
Coaches from each school can vote for any players not from the school they represent.
Top 22 Conference All Stars named for Ambridge Area
Two of the recognized athletes were given another distinguish honor as Scholar Athletes:
"The awards Romnn and Pat received tonight are a result of their relentless effort and sacrifice to be the best player and student that he can be," said Ambridge football coach and teacher Scott McMullen.
"Their selfless character and positive attitude are two of the many positive qualities that make them successful on the field and in the classroom."
