According to a Troop 405 official, Penn did a project for with veterans to record their stories. All of the info that was collected was sent to be archived at the Library Congress as part of its Veterans History Project. The Veterans History project, which began in 2000, keeps the recorded interviews in a searchable archive and makes them available to the public.
Garrett Penn, a member of Boy Scout Troop 405 in Baden, was recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. Penn's achievements was be recognized at his Court of Honor ceremony, which was held earlier in March.
