Katie Fischer, a Senior at Edinboro University, scored 23 points to put her over the 1000 point milestone and defeating Pitt- Johnson. According to Fischer's family, she was also able to accomplish this as a senior at Ambridge High School.
Last week, Sara Fischer, currently a senior at Ambridge and also an Edinboro recruit, scored her 1000th career point in a game at North Allegheny. She was recently recognized as one of Pittsburgh Athletes of the Week by Trib Live.
