The competition will be located on Fourth Street between Maplewood Avenue and Park Road, and runs from 2 to 6 p.m.
Last year's wing cook off brought in nearly 1,000 people, who came to sample the wings.
Participants can enter the competition as a professional--restaurant, bar, etc.--or compete as an amateur. Each can choose as many categories to be judged on. This year's categories are "best hot wings" and "best 'other' flavor wings."
During the festival, there will be live music and other activities taking place at the family-friendly event that includes a fun one-mile walk . All proceeds benefit American Diabetes Association.
The wing competition is not limited to just the Ambridge area. The competition is open to anyone who believes they have what it takes to be crowned Best Wings in 2014.
