Three local people were honored in October by various organizations.
 Advertisement  Advertisement | Felicia Mycyk was honored as a distinguished leader of volunteerism at the fall annual Black History Achievement Awards held at the Airport Marriott in Moon. Jeremy Angus was honored at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown as one of Pittsburgh's 2014 "40 Under 40." The program honored 40 men and women for ensuring that Pittsburgh is deserving of its Most Livable City title. Susan Weinzierl was highlighted in the October issue of Spotlight on Women in Business presented by First Commonwealth Bank for her Economy based business, Professional Graphic Communications.
