2. Is dad a history buff? Old Economy Village is offering trade and craft demonstrations every Saturday through September. This week is a great time to bring out the entire family because it's all about "Planes and Games: Woodworking and children's activities." Admission is $10 adults, $9 seniors 65 and up, $6 children 3-11 and free for children 2 and under, and active military.
3. If dad loves tools, stop by Do it Best Home Center in Ambridge. Several tools are on sale through Father's Day, including a cordless drill, chainsaw, toolbox or 31-piece tool set.
4. Spend time as a family at the local movie theater. Ambridge Family Theatre, 645 Merchant St., is showing Rio 2 this weekend. Showtimes for the G-rated movie are Friday at 7:10, 9:40 pm; Saturday at 1:10, 4:00, 7:10, 9:40 pm; and Sunday at 1:10, 4:00, and 7:10 p.m.
5. Who says flowers are just for moms? Show dad your love and appreciation with a fresh, manly bouquet from Beaver Valley Floral in Baden or Heritage Floral Shoppe and Courtyard in Ambridge.
