According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, fewer than 20 WPIAL coaches have 500 career wins. Jula's record is 500-321.
The only active coaches known to have 500 wins are Ringgold's Phil Pergola, Monessen's Joe Salvino, Central Catholic's Chuck Crummie and Sewickley Academy's Win Palmer.
