Ambridge police have issued an alert after a girl reported a man attempted to lure some children in an alley Monday.
At about 8 p.m. Monday, an 11-year-old girl reported to police that an unknown man approached her and her friends in an alleyway around the 100 block of 12th Street.
The man offered them candy and was told no. He followed them until they reached a sidewalk, then ran away.
The man is described as biracial with short, black hair and a lip ring. He was last seen wearing a white, cutoff tank top, black and white Nike shorts and a black bag.
