The Ambridge Area Performing Arts Academy will present a free dance recital Thursday, July 17 as part of the Summer Dance Academy.
The inaugural “Dancers at a Gathering” is open to the public and begins at 2 p.m. in the Ambridge Area High School Theater.

In addition to Ambridge Area dancers, Kenneth Nickel, artistic director of the Performing Arts Academy, said the recital will feature dancers from Mercyhurst University, Seton Hill University, and Oil City Ballet.
“They will show their talents to our students and our students will get to know them,” said Nickel, who is producing the event.
