The Ambridge Borough Resident Pass program has been renewed for 2016 at Old Economy Village. If you are a resident of the Borough of Ambridge, head on over to Old Economy Village, 270 16th Street, Ambridge and pick up your FREE pass which will gain you access to Old Economy Village for the 2016 season. A valid, current ID – such as a driver’s license, utility bill, or anything that verifies they live in the Borough of Ambridge is all that is required to get the pass.
Site Administrator Michael Knecht said, “The Resident Pass is our way of saying thank you to Ambridge Borough residents who may occasionally be inconvenienced when Old Economy programs and events bring large numbers of visitors to town. Old Economy Village is Ambridge’s historic site. We want Ambridge residents to come out to the Village often to explore their community’s National Historic Landmark.”
The pass can be used for regular admission to the site. This includes such events as Saturday Spotlights, Hands-on History, An American Celebration, Autumnfest, and Christmas at the Village. Old Economy Village is open for touring Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from Noon until 5:00 p.m.
