The Ambridge boys volleyball team won its third consecutive WPIAL championship title on Thursday with a 3-0 victory over Derry at Baldwin High School.
For the Bridgers, this is the sixth Class AA title in seven years.
Ambridge won all three sets, with a 29-27 lead in the first set; 23-17 in the second set; and 25-20 in the third set, according to the Post Gazette.
Lee Smith led Ambridge with 18 kills and Brandon Buck added 16. Dan Zajac had nine kills and led the Bridgers with four blocks.
The team is now headed for the PIAA tournament in June.
