Ambridge High School Marching Band is entering the 3rd year of fundraising for their trip to Hawaii in December 2016.
The marching band was invited to participate in Waikiki holiday parade and the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade to commemorate the anniversary of the invasion of Pearl Harbor.
"The price of the trip is going to be high" shared the Band Director, Marie Dewar.
Members of the band are spending Saturday, August 8 , washing cars at Ambridge Do It Best to raise funds until 4 p.m.
Fundraisers are being planned and will be shared as they are finalized.
Dewar shared "The more that we can help offset the students cost the better."
