For the past five years, Master Scott Homschek, owner of River Valley Tang Soo Do in Ambridge, has served as the regional director for the World Tang Soo Do Association Region #22, the newest region.
Over the weekend, Homschek was honored with a commendation from the masters, instructors and students of Region 22 while attending Adult Black Belt Camp held June 27-29 in Johnstown, Pa.
Homschek said the region encompasses studios in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio and he spent the last five years helping to get the newest region up and running.
Starting today, Master Scott Merrill of State College will serve as the next regional director, leaving Homschek with more time for curriculum development and other projects.
