“We’re not done with the investigation,” said Ambridge police Chief James Mann.
Mann said police are still awaiting results of a blood test and a download of information from the box truck Hurst was driving. Depending on the results, Mann said additional charges could be filed.
Hurst told authorities he dozed off at the wheel and police said he never applied his brakes before his truck plowed into the back of another car, killing Debra Douds of Rochester. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this month.
