The car cruise was held on Merchant Street between 11th and 14th streets and drew a number of people, from car enthusiasts to families with children.
Co-chair Ryan Donnelly said he heard consistently positive feedback throughout the day.
"Many were pleasantly surprised about the high turnout. I was not surprised. Bridgers love history and nostalgia, and that's what the day celebrated."
In addition to cars, there were live music, raffles, prizes, baked goods, snow cones and other goodies. Mycyk said she is looking forward to next year.
"This event can only get better with more community organizations and businesses getting involved," Mycyk said.
