The annual Envirothon hosted by Beaver County Conservation District was held at Brady's Run Park on Wed., May 10.
Ambridge Jr High girls team brought home a first place trophy replacing 2016 memory of losing first place by 3 points according to Don Ayers, eighth-grade Integrated Science, and Honors Teacher. The boys jr high team took the fourth place trophy in their first year of competition.

The Beaver County Envirothon is an environmental issues and awareness competition for high school and jr high students sponsored by several local environmental agencies. All conservation districts in Pennsylvania hold competitions at the county level and then send their high school winners to the Pennsylvania State Envirothon.
