Katie Adams, 28, of Maplewood Avenue, testified earlier this month at the trial of David Best, 28, that she was a pill addict who sold pills to support her habit, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
She said she bought pills from Best and saw him supply Opana to Chris Radford, 23, shortly before the Economy man died, the newspaper reports.
Best was acquitted of selling substances that caused the man's death, but the P-G reports he was found guilty of nine other charges and is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 15.
Adams pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell prescription drugs, possession with intent to sell oxycodone, and the 2012 burglary at the MedFast Pharmacy in Baden.
She faces 10 years of federal probation after prison release and must join in paying restitution to the pharmacy and insurance company victimized in the burglary.
