Ambridge/Avonworth high school hockey team ADVANCES in playoffs.
The hockey team takes down the Indians from North Hills 5-2 Monday night. Matt Lesnick with another stellar performance in net facing 23 shots. Goals scored were by Tyler Czoper, Landon Hanna, Jacob Best, Ryan Kennedy and Noah Vith.
The team advances to the next round in the playoffs which will be Wed. March 15 at 7:50 p.m. against Chartiers Valley at the Alpha Ice Complex in Hamerville.
