Ambridge Police charged Steven Martin of 13th Street, with five felony counts of corruption of minors.
An Ambridge high school guidance counselor called the school resource officer to the office on Sept. 4 after the upset teenager revealed inappropriate pictures and text messages sent to her cell phone.
Police found several lewd and sexually explicit videos and photos depicting Martin. Police said Martin, in several of the videos, requested that the teen perform sex acts.
While interviewing the girl, Ambridge officers learned of another incident at a picnic Aug. 21 in Economy Park.
According to Economy Police, Martin fondled the girl in a pavilion near the walking trails and molested her. Police said he stopped when he saw another person walking in the area.
Economy Police charged Martin with two felony counts each of aggravated indecent assault and involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, and misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and indecent exposure.
Police said Martin apologized for sending nude photos and the shame that it would cause his family. He also stated that he hoped the victim would not contact police.
Martin was released Sept. 8 from Beaver County Jail after posting $25,000 bond on the Ambridge charges. According to the online court records, he was remanded back to jail Sept. 18 on $25,000 bond for the Economy charges.
