The Ambridge Area Chamber of Commerce will highlight the efforts of individuals, organizations and businesses on Thursday at the annual "Celebration of Efforts" banquet.
Awards are being given out in 14 categories this year.
The Ambridge Area Chamber of Commerce will highlight the efforts of individuals, organizations and businesses on Thursday at the annual "Celebration of Efforts" banquet.
Awards are being given out in 14 categories this year.
"Anytime we can promote good deeds, that's worthwhile," said Jenifer Watkins, director of the chamber.
Watkins said about 170 people attended last year. The event begins at 6 p.m. in Javy's Banquet Hall. Those recognized will receive a certificate from Senator Elder Vogel's office. State Rep. Rob Matzie is the master of ceremonies.
