In a hard-fought battle, the Avonworth/Ambridge team knocked off the Chartiers Valley Colts (10-1-5) in a wild 8-5 game.
Noah Vith (assists from Knuth and Czoper) scored twice in the first two minutes of the game to trip the Colts up right out of the gate.

The Colts fought back, but Ryan Kennedy’s unassisted goal at the end of the first period put the team ahead to stay. From there, Jacob Best and Vith closed the door putting 5 goals behind the Colt’s goaltender. Assist were provided by Andy (Chevy) Chrvala, Kennedy and Matt Springer. Noah ended the night with an amazing 6 goals!
These kids have not backed down from any challenge this season and are now poised to make it to the final round of the tournament.
