Participants could choose from a variety of self-guided tutorials. They could choose from Minecraft tutorials or ones that feature Disney’s Frozen, Scrat from Ice Age, Angry Birds, and Plants vs. Zombies. Volunteer Nadia Mycyk from Ambridge High School Robotic Club was on hand to assist the kids who needed help with running their codes.
" I don't know much about coding myself, but it is a good experience for future use for kids" shared Heidi Zutter, mother of four. Zutter added that her children do coding at Baden Academy.
Everyone who completed the coding were given a certificate.
"We have all sorts of program geared towards science, technology , engineering, and art. We also have a science club that meets normally on Tuesday nights " added library assistant, Nikki Cagle.
