Mayor Sam Gagliardi said Guardian donated 30 signs to the Baden's Neighborhood Watch committee a couple of weeks ago. Signs are posted in various places throughout the borough, including the municipal building and Sheila's Restaurant.
"Hopefully when people see them, it will help deter crime," Gagliardi said.
He hopes the signs also serve as a reminder to remain vigilant and to watch out for your neighbors.
"For example, if you see mail accumulating on the porch, it's good to have another set of eyes. Call the police."
Gagliardi said the Neighborhood Watch committee was started a few years ago by a couple of residents looking to deter crime in the neighborhood.
A limited number of signs are available on a "first come, first serve" basis for businesses and residents who want to place them in yards or windows.
